This then prevents the React pump from starting and helps to limit more frost damage to the pump were it to start while frozen. If your pump will not start and you have a blue LED (which indicates pressure setting has been met) and you have had a recent frost then your pressure sensor has likely frozen and failed. Buy a new pressure sensor and review the installation
