2022 Beaucanon Estate Chardonnay, Napa Valley santa barbara 5% each of Merlot andThe fruit of our old vines went into our Estate Chardonnay for a wine of amazing depth and structure. A lovely, pale gold hue does not prepare you for the intense nose that fills the glass. Sweet vanilla is noticeable, but just barely outweighs tropical aromas of ripe pineapple, tangerine and coconut. Caramel, rosemary and limestone are just hinted at but will certainly develop over time.
