Mitra middagskniv fra Georg Jensen Armbånd og armringe Length of chain 16 cmLength 23 cm. The knife has a long handle. Mitra was designed by Gundorph Albertus, Georg Jensen's brother in law, in 1941. Silver was in short supply during World War II, so the cutlery was made of steel, as Georg Jensen's first item. There have been close to 100 different parts in the production of this cutlery. The handle of the cutlery is shaped like a Catholic bishop's hat, a mitre, hence the name. Nice used condition.
