Jens Harald Quistgaard was a Danish sculptor and designer and one of the driving forces behind the spread of Danish Design. He quickly made a name for himself in the USA and Japan and his work is displayed in several major museums in these countries. His big breakthrough was something as simple as a teak and steel cutlery from 1954. That same year he founded the company "Dansk" which was his sales channel in the USA and elsewhere.
