The feed line float keeps the supply hose elevated and properly positioned as the Racer moves through the pool, preventing the hose from dragging along the floor or tangling around the cleaner. A damaged or missing float allows the feed hose to sink and interfere with the cleaner's movement pattern, reducing cleaning
